Nova Group GBC is an international, multidisciplinary advisory firm providing ESG, energy, climate resilience, IAQ/WELL Building, environmental, and engineering consulting and design services throughout North America and around the globe. The Energy Division of Nova Group, GBC (Nova) delivers, on average, 35 energy, water and/or waste audits per month that contain property performance targets, energy management plans, and data reporting and management. Nova uses ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager to generate benchmarks and baselines for our clients upon which our analysis is based. Nova works with debt and equity clients to delivery services that support green financing products (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD) as well as to support decarbonization targets set as part of ESG goals. We work with clients to ensure that they comply with the Building Performance Standards set by their locality. We assist the properties with obtaining ENERGY STAR Certification if they have a score of 75+ and use the targets and goals to help borrowers identify energy measures that need to be implemented to achieve a higher score. Nova is also qualified to support the following green certifications: BREEAM, Green Globes, GreenPoint Rated, National Green Building Standard, WELL and FitWell.
