The most valuable service the Building Innovation Hub (Hub) provides is bringing people together. We need building decision makers, operators, designers, contractors, and tenants to collaborate on the future of high-performing, healthy, and resilient buildings in and around the District.

We're hiring!

The Hub is looking for someone to join our growing team.

Building Innovation Hub Advisory Board

The Hub’s strategy and programming will be guided by an Advisory Board of the people it serves: building owners, operators, designers, service providers, contractors, and other building industry professionals. We are currently seeking recommendations from industry professionals. If you know someone who you think would make a strong board member, or if you are interested yourself, please read the details below. Nominees should:

  • Have credibility within the local building industry and a proven track record of commitment to sustainability in the built environment.
  • Want to contribute to building and shaping the future of the District.
  • Have a cross-disciplinary / sector network and desire to help the Hub build its reach across the region.
  • Be willing to contribute to strategic long term planning and support the development of the Hub

The Hub is committed to assembling a Board with diverse gender and racial representation.

To recommend someone for the board, please complete the nomination form. Nominees will be contacted for additional information.

Support the Hub

The purpose of the Hub is to make it easier for building industry players to benefit from energy efficiency, decarbonization strategies, and access to a diverse pool of qualified vendors. Our supporters will help us push the industry beyond code minimums and policy compliance by demonstrating innovation and best practices. They will support fresh programming; equitable workforce training; and the creation of critical tools that demystify concepts in the design, construction, and operation of high-performance buildings. To be part of this transformation, please read about our membership opportunities and reach out to Lindsey Falasca.
