Summary

I have a BS, MS, and PhD in environmental engineering, with my PhD focus on life-cycle assessment (LCA) of fuel infrastructure. I passed the LEED AP in 2007 and the LEED Green Associate and Certified Energy Manager exams in 2023. I served as the Army's Special Assistant for Energy and Sustainability 2018-2021, where I oversaw third-party financing of building and utility upgrades through performance contracting (ESPCs, UESCs) and utilities privatization, as well as specific policies (e.g., building energy monitoring). I've operated my DC-based LLC since 2021, and offer a variety of services related to clean energy and energy efficiency -- some of which are in the green building space (e.g., benchmarking, analysis, audits, LCA, TEA), and I'm aiming to grow this practice.
