The District of Columbia Commission on Climate Change & Resiliency (DC-CCCCR) hosted a public forum to gather testimonials and research with an exclusive focus on the District of Columbia. Citizens, scientists, educators, and policy advocates responded to the following questions:
- How has climate change impacted communities and neighborhoods in the District of Columbia?
- What future climate-related impacts and risks can be anticipated?
- What measures might stakeholders in the District of Columbia best take to effectively mitigate and adapt to climate change?
The Hub participated in the “Transforming Buildings” session with a presentation titled, “How Better Buildings Can Make a Better Future for the District.”
