Mobilize Frederick is hosting its 3rd annual Climate Summit, co-sponsored by Hood College, on February 28-March 1, 2025. This year’s theme, “It’s All Connected! How Climate Solutions Work Together for a Better Future” underscores the potential of collective action in addressing the climate crisis. Come learn about climate solutions that you can use to make a difference!
Don’t miss the Building Innovation Hub’s Director, Theresa Backhus, who will be speaking on the Business Case for Climate Action panel scheduled for 1 pm on February 28.
This year’s summit will feature:
- 24-panel speakers
- 3 keynote addresses
- Small group sessions on native gardening, home energy efficiency, electrification, how to be a climate solutions advocate, and more
- Learn about Green Schools program and participate in activities for students
- Networking opportunities with more than 400 attendees, including elected officials, business owners, educators, residents, and community leaders
- Visit the exhibit hall filled with 50 nonprofits, local businesses, and government agencies
Free general admission, but with a recommended donation is $25 to support ongoing projects.
An optional boxed lunch is available for purchase for $20, but attendees also have the option to pack their own or visit nearby restaurants.
