Description

Join CREW DC for a dynamic afternoon that includes a panel discussion, networking, and ample time inside WMATA’s Headquarters.  The first fifty people to register will also receive a property tour.  CREW DC’s Programs Committee is thrilled to highlight our 2022 Project Excellence Award Winner in the first big event of 2023.

The Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) released the Clean Energy DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2018 as its latest effort to develop cutting-edge climate and energy action plan for the city. This is one of the country’s most aggressive and impactful clean energy actions to-date and establishes DC as a global leader in the fight against climate change. Clean Energy DC identifies what actions need to be taken before 2032 in buildings, energy infrastructure, and transportation system to meet the District’s ambitious targets.

Our dynamic panel of experts will discuss the progress, plans, goals and actions underway to halve GHG emissions by 2032 and become carbon neutral by 2045.
