On December 6, 2022, the National Housing Conference will host its Solutions for Affordable Housing convening at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. This hybrid convening brings together a diverse group of housing professionals, policymakers, researchers, and advocates for a full day of engaging content that will inspire you to think of new ways to advance your organization’s mission while also considering the nation’s larger housing policy challenges. This year’s sessions will include a discussion of the housing investments in the Inflation Reduction Act, creative solutions to addressing the housing supply deficit, housing finance strategies, special purpose credit programs, and what’s on the policy docket for 2023.
At Solutions, attendees will build a deeper understanding of key federal housing policy challenges and the interplay between those policies and the work being carried out in states and local communities. A variety of panels will offer insights for attendees to develop a finer focus on how their organization’s goals fit into the larger national housing agenda. This event will provide an opportunity to network across the full spectrum of affordable housing participants, including representatives from local government entities, foundations, nonprofits, developers, lenders, and more.
