Learn how your business can take the lead on climate, reduce risk, save money, and become a model for Richmond’s bright economic future.
Did you know that commercial and industrial buildings account for over 40% of Richmond’s greenhouse gas emissions? Businesses and nonprofits play a vital role in helping to meet the City’s ambitious climate goals. They also have an opportunity to take the lead on these challenges, serving as models in their sectors for how to proactively address climate change.
The Community Climate Collaborative (C3), a nonprofit founded in 2017, is focused on supporting businesses and nonprofits in meeting climate challenges head-on. C3 has recently expanded our programs into Richmond, and is building partnerships to tackle carbon emissions in Richmond’s commercial sector. Join C3, Chamber RVA, and event host Ted Ukrop on April 18 from 4-6pm to hear from local leaders about RVA’s climate plan, how climate solutions translate to local actions that benefit businesses, and about new opportunities for climate action in Richmond’s business community.
