Description
This event will bring together the National Capital Region’s top custom homebuilders, architects, product manufacturers, policymakers, and trade professionals to celebrate the craft of home building. Come to learn about cutting edge technologies, share industry best practices and explore new ways of raising the bar for high performance. Co-Hosted by Symbi Homes, The Net-Zero Energy Coalition, Zonda and DAKS Builders at the newly built Queen of Zero property in historic Hyattsville, MD, participants will have a one-time exclusive “show and tell” of this completed home showcasing the best in efficiency, comfort, and wellness. Live workshops will deep dive on product performance, design features, and certifications that have come together to model the cutting edge for homebuilding excellence. The event will conclude with an informal networking happy hour and raffle giveaway.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Home Expo and Self-Guided Tours
Members of the project team, including manufacturers and trades, will be positioned throughout the home to ‘show and tell’ its cutting-edge features. From its structurally insulated panels to Tesla Solar Roof come learn about how your projects can incorporate these high-performance technologies.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Deep Dive Workshops
On our Main Stage, join a select group of Queen of Zero project sponsors as they share in-depth knowledge and take your questions on products featured in the home. Hear from the experts on the latest and greatest technologies and how their products contribute to high performance. The event will feature three live 20-minute workshops from 5-6pm. All attendees are welcome.

Remarks from the project leads and local officials to mark the completion of this groundbreaking home and thank the team that made it possible.
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM – Reception and Raffle
Connect with your industry peers while enjoying a selection of local beer and food. Participate in the raffle to win home appliances and more!
