As DC strengthens its commitment to electrification – supported by policies like the Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS) and Clean Energy DC – this new higher education classroom building is leading the way. Designed to achieve ILFI Zero Carbon Certification, this project reduces operational carbon while enhancing energy efficiency. By prioritizing all-electric systems, we’re helping create healthier, more resilient buildings that future-proof investments and support DC’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2045.
