Founded in 2006, Baumann is a transatlantic organization with our headquarter in Washington D.C. and offices in Chicago, and Frankfurt, Germany. Baumann provides energy efficiency and sustainability consulting services for the entire life cycle of buildings. Our services range from facility condition assessments, energy audits, feasibility studies to the development of design concepts, Retro-commissioning, monitoring and optimization of building performance and consulting for green building certifications.

Benchmarking, Energy Audits and Retro-Cx Expertise:
We support our clients throughout the whole process; from benchmarking verification and energy auditing to energy conservation measure implementation management and Retro-Cx. For Energy Audits, we utilize a RETScreen Energy Model of the building to better evaluate the impact of various energy conservation measures. We provided 3rd party benchmarking verification services to DOEE and DC SEU and provided training for commissioning and energy modeling for DC SEU.

Deep BEPS Expertise:
We have already worked with many clients to identify the best strategy for their buildings to address BEPS. Baumann was appointed to the BEPS Taskforce Sub-Committee for Retro-Cx, attended all BEPS Task Force meetings and is well connected to DOEE’s team.
