USGBC DC, Maryland and Virginia presents Building Transformation Forum: Green Building for All. This forum aims to explore the critical intersection of workforce development and equity in the built environment. As the green job sector expands due to federal funding initiatives and the impending energy transition, it is essential to ensure that these new jobs can be filled as well as no community, especially those disproportionately affected by climate change, left behind.
This forum will serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action. Industry experts, policy and community leaders will share insights, strategies, and best practices for creating an inclusive workforce that reflects the diverse fabric of our society. Through a series of engaging panels and discussions, participants will gain valuable knowledge about opportunities in green jobs, the latest policies affecting the built environment, and the tools available to support equitable access to green careers.
