Welcome, Founding Members!

The Hub is excited to announce its first member cohort.

Please join us in welcoming the Building Innovation Hub’s Founding Members! These industry leaders are redefining business as usual through their support of the Hub, enabling us all to build a stronger, more resilient DC. Members help us ensure that the people owning, designing, constructing, operating, and occupying buildings across DC have the tools and resources they need to proactively prepare to comply with DC’s building performance regulations and create better buildings. Their support allows the Hub to create dynamic opportunities for connection at all scales, expand access to knowledge around DC’s climate goals, and enable proactive performance improvement for buildings of all types and sizes.

We’re proud to partner with these early adopters:

The support of these Founding Members will allow the Hub to create dynamic opportunities for connection across the District and we’re already hard at work on a few collaborative efforts to come in the months ahead. We’ll be partnering with members to develop resources, trainings, and presentations, as well as building out an Industry Leadership Forum as yet another avenue for transformative conversations about building performance. By bringing together practitioners from across the District, together we can produce real, actionable solutions that drive climate action in all of the buildings that make up the fabric of our community.

With gratitude to these Founding Members, we look forward to continued conversations about how we can come together to building a stronger DC. To kick things off, the Hub chatted with Arup, a Founding Member at the Transformer level, about the biggest challenges and opportunities they see for the building industry today. You can read the full interview here. Stay tuned for more Q&A conversations with our Transformers and Innovators in the coming weeks.
